The demonstration version of Strand7 is
a limited version of the full Strand7 system. It may be used to generate
any size model, but the solver will accept only models with at most 20 beams,
100 plates and 100 bricks. The saving of data has been disabled.
After downloading the zip, extract the
files and run SETUP.EXE. After installing the software, browse the "../Samples" folder as this contains a few sample models, ready to solve and post-process.
The Strand7 Help Files are not included in the demo zip to reduce the size of the download. If you wish to install the Strand7 Help Files (recommended), simply download "St7Help.zip", extract the files and place them in the "../Help" folder of the Strand7 Demo.
